About Me

My name is William-Elijah Clark, and I'm a graphic designer from Orlando, FL. I double majored in Graphic Design and Economics at the University of Central Florida, finishing in 2016. My main programs of choice are Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator, although I know Adobe InDesign, Adobe Premier, Adobe AfterEffects, and Autodesk Maya as well. I know how to code some HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. (I also happen to know R and Python for data analysis, although that's more of an additional fun fact about me than anything to do with graphic design.)

In my personal life, some of my personal interests include hunting down good cafés, hanging out with dogs, and writing.

About the Psesudonym of Dandy Rebel

Dandy Rebel is the pseudonym I chose after considering who I am as a person, as well as my personal aesthetic. I like to mix being classy with being sassy— and I would say that my personal sensibilities are a fusion of emo, goth and punk aesthetics, as well as aesthetics of the late 1800s/early 1900s. Thus, when I came up with the name of Dandy Rebel, I figured that it fits that ethos well, and it's stuck ever since.

That also said, the logo I designed for myself keeps the above spirit in mind—you can find calligraphic logos on luxury goods, but you can also find calligraphic logos on audio amps and electric guitars.
